Crews Pull Woman From Water Near Fisherman's Wharf
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Fire crews rescued a female who fell into the San Francisco Bay near Fisherman's Wharf Friday afternoon, a fire department spokeswoman said.
Crews responded to Pier 43 ½ where a female was reported in the water at 4:35 p.m., spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
She was in distress and someone had thrown her a life ring, which she was clinging onto when crews arrived.
She was safely pulled from the water at 4:45 p.m.
