KCBS' Doug Sovern Listed Among Nation's Top Political Reporters

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS SF) -- The Washington Post's respected political blog 'The Fix' just published a list of "the best state-based political reporters" in the country, and Doug Sovern of KCBS All News 740 AM & FM 106.9 is on it.

Not only is KCBS' Sovern the only broadcast reporter among the seven listed for California, he's one of only two commercial radio station reporters listed for the entire country.

Chris Cillizza of 'The Fix' said the names on the list are reporters that "every politico in the state reads (or listens to)."

The other California reporters on the list are Carla Marinucci of the San Francisco Chronicle, Josh Richman of the Oakland Tribune, Dan Walters and David Siders of the Sacramento Bee, and George Skelton and Mark Barabak of the L.A. Times.
