3 Saturday Night Shootings In Oakland Send 4 To Hospital

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police in Oakland are investigating three shootings that hospitalized four people Saturday night, an officer said.

The first shooting was reported at about 9:10 p.m. in the area of 65th Avenue and Eastlawn Street, Officer Kevin McDonald said.

Officers found a female suffering from a gunshot wound and transported her to a hospital, McDonald said.

At about 10:05 p.m., officers responded to another report of a shooting in the 1900 block of 73rd Avenue, McDonald said.

When officers arrived, they found two males suffering from gunshot wounds, he said.

Both males were transported to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, according to McDonald.

And at about 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at 78th and Bancroft avenues, McDonald said.

A male was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital, he said.

All four victims are in stable condition, McDonald said.

No arrests have been made in the shootings, he said. The incidents remain under investigation.
