OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Police in Oakland were searching for a 64-year-old man who went missing from his care home on Saturday.

James Moten, who suffers from dementia, apparently walked away from his residence at about 6:30 a.m. and has not been seen since, according to Oakland police.

Moten is considered at risk because of his mental condition.

He is described as a black man with a beard, a bald head and brown eyes. He is around 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black sweat pants.

Anyone who might have information about the case is asked to contact Oakland police at (510) 238-3641.
