Video Shows Teen Girls' Attack On Elderly SF Muni Passenger

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) - San Francisco police hope someone recognizes the two young women seen carrying out a mugging on a San Francisco Muni light rail vehicle last week.

In surveillance footage released Monday, the attackers - who police say appear to be 13-14 years old - approach a seated 68-year-old, punching her in the face and then taking off with her purse and cell phone.

The attack happened last Tuesday evening near 3rd and Carroll Street aboard the T-3rd line.

Anyone with information is asked to contact SFPD.
