1 Killed, 2 Hurt In Vallejo Shooting

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A woman was killed and two victims were injured in a shooting Monday evening in Vallejo, according to police.

At 5:48 p.m. on Monday, police in Vallejo responded to the 100 block of Frisbie Street after receiving a report that shots had been fired into a residence, police said.

Officers arrived on scene to discover that there were multiple shooting victims.

One adult female was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

A man and a woman who sustained gunshot wounds were transported to the hospital for emergency treatment, police said.

According to police, preliminary information indicates that a vehicle was involved in the fatal shooting. No suspect information has been and the shooting remains under investigation.

Police said the identity of the victim is being withheld until her next of kin has been notified.
