Man Shot, Killed In San Francisco’s Bayview District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A man was shot and killed in San Francisco’s Bayview District Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The victim, a 30-year-old male, was shot multiple times on the 700 block of Kirkwood Avenue around 3 p.m., according to Sgt. Dennis Toomer.

He was pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital.

No one else was struck by gunfire, police said.

No suspect description is available. Police are currently searching the area for witnesses.
