Burlingame Crew Brings 1-Alarm House Fire Under Control

BURLINGAME (CBS SF) — Firefighters gained control of a one-alarm house fire in Burlingame Wednesday morning, a San Mateo County fire dispatcher said.

The fire, which was reported just before 9 a.m. in the 1300 block of Columbus Avenue, has been “pretty much knocked down, but there is still a little bit of smoke,” the dispatcher said at about 9:45 a.m.

No injuries have been reported.

Firefighters remained on scene to mop up and investigate the cause of the blaze.
