'White House Down' Free For Active Military, Veterans On July 4

(CBS NEWS) - Sony Pictures wants to thank the troops this Independence Day.

With proper military identification, members of the military can bring one guest with them free of charge to any Regal Entertinment Group, AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, or Carmike Cinemas theater to see the patriotic themed film starring Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum.

"It's a great way to celebrate the holiday and to honor and thank the troops for their service to our country," Rory Bruer, president of worldwide distribution for Sony Pictures, said in a statement.
