Caught On Tape: Suspect Knocks Woman Unconscious In Violent Robbery In SF

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are asking for the public to help identify a suspect who brutally kicked a woman in the face during a robbery after Pink Saturday celebrations in San Francisco.

Around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday the victim was robbed by a group of suspects near Market and Dolores streets.

One man kicked her so hard that she was knocked unconscious, police said.

Police have released a video showing the attack that sent the woman to the hospital.

She has since been released and is at home recovering, police said.

The group is described as five men and a woman all in their late teens or early 20s.

The same group is suspected of committing multiple robberies and assaults after the Pink Saturday street party in the Castro.

They may have robbed and assaulted others on Market Street between Castro Street and the Civic Center, police said.

Others can send a tip by text message to TIP411 with "SFPD" in the message.
