SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A San Francisco police motorcycle officer was hospitalized after a collision in the city’s Mission District Tuesday morning, a police spokeswoman said.

The crash was reported at about 8:50 a.m. near 16th Street and Julian Avenue.

The officer was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police spokeswoman Officer Tracy Turner said.

No other information about the crash was immediately available.
