'Arrested Development' & Netflix In Talks For Season 5

Premiere Of Netflix's "Arrested Development" Season 4 - After Party

(CBS NEWS) - It looks like the Bluths may return for another round of misadventures.

Video streaming service Netflix is in talks with the "Arrested Development" production team to bring back the comedy series for a fifth season.

Imagine Entertainment co-chairman Brian Grazer told Bloomberg TV on Thursday that conversations have been ongoing between Netflix executives, "Arrested Development" showrunner Mitch Hurwitz and the show's cast, which includes Jason Bateman and Michael Cera.

"Mitch is ready to do it and so are the actors. So we're very excited about that," Grazer said.

"Arrested Development" originally aired on Fox from 2003-2006 but was cancelled due to low ratings. It has since become a massive cult hit and a favorite among TV critics.

The series was brought back this year for a fourth season consisting of 15 episodes streaming on Netflix. The new season was met with a mixed reception from critics and viewers.
