3 Shot, 1 Killed In Shooting Near Salinas

SALINAS (CBS SF) - Three men were found shot near an intersection just outside of Salinas Thursday afternoon, according to the Monterey County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies, Salinas police and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the corner of Calle El Adobe and Boronda Road at 3:11 p.m.

Investigators found three victims suffering gunshot wounds.

One victim, 42-year-old Jose Alfredo Espinoza, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims, 24-year-old Jerry Garcia and 35-year-old Jorge Lopez Rodriguez, suffered serious gunshot wounds and were taken to a hospital.
