Wildfire Chars Dozens Of Acres Near Petaluma
PETALUMA (CBS SF) - A fire burned 40 to 45 acres of a eucalyptus tree grove along Lakeville Highway near Petaluma Friday afternoon, a Cal Fire spokeswoman said.
The fire near old Lakeville Road No. 2 near the Pegasus Ranch at 6525 Lakeville Highway was reported at 1:44 p.m., spokeswoman Tiffany Mercado said.
Cal Fire, the Marin County Fire Department and local fire departments are responding to the blaze, she said.
