Crews Battle Brush Fire Blocking EB I-80 In Fairfield
FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- Fire crews were at the scene of a one-alarm brush fire that was blocking eastbound interstate Highway 80 at the southbound interstate Highway 680 connector in Fairfield, authorities said.
The fire was reported around 2:20 p.m. on the side of eastbound Highway 80 at Green Valley Road, according to the CHP.
The CHP was reporting that the roadway near the Highway 680 connector was blocked due to the fire.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
