Giants' Vogelsong To Return From Disabled List Friday
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS Sports) -- San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong has been out since breaking his hand on May 20.
But Friday, he'll make his return to the hill, getting the start against the Baltimore Orioles.
Manager Bruce Bochy said he told Vogelsong Tuesday of the decision, which was later shared with reporters.
In four starts across three levels of the minors for his rehab assignment, Vogelsong put together a 1.72 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 13 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings.
