LOS ANGELES (CBS Sports) — Newly signed Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brian Wilson was set to begin Wednesday what is technically a minor-league rehab assignment on for Class A Rancho Cucamonga, manager Don Mattingly confirmed.
Wilson, who hasn’t seen game action since April 12, 2012, is working his way back from Tommy John surgery performed later that same month.
He is of course former closer for the arch-rival San Francisco Giants.
