SF Tech Mogul Facing 47 Counts Related To Alleged Assault

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) - A San Francisco entrepreneur once featured on the "Oprah Winfrey Show" has been charged with 47 counts related to domestic violence.

Court records show 31-year-old Gurbaksh Chahal is accused of assaulting a girlfriend in his Rincon Hill home on Monday. He's charged with 45 felonies, including 41 counts of assault and domestic violence. He's free on $125,000 bail.

Stuart Gordon, one of Chahal's attorneys, told the San Francisco Chronicle the incident was just an argument that got out of hand and the charges "are entirely unjustified and blown out of proportion."

Chahal is the CEO of online advertising company RadiumOne. When he was on "Oprah" in 2010, he was billed as one of the world's youngest and wealthiest entrepreneurs, having started his first company at age 16.
