Officials Detain Man Who Walked Into BART Transbay Tube
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- BART trains were back on schedule Sunday evening after a man was found walking in the Transbay Tube, a transit agency employee said.
The person had walked into the tunnel from the Embarcadero station in San Francisco around 6:15 p.m., a BART employee said.
He was removed from the tracks by BART police around 6:40 p.m. and was detained, the employee said.
Trains traveling in all directions were briefly affected with 15-minute delays reported because of the incident.
