SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A robbery Monday evening turned into a lengthy pursuit through San Francisco, police said.

The robbery was reported in the 2000 block of Revere Avenue in the city’s Bayview District at 5:03 p.m.

The responding officers found a fleeing vehicle and pursued into onto U.S. Highway 101 and eventually to the 600 block of Townsend Street.

Officers detained several suspects there and were continuing to investigate, police said.
