Teen Killed In East Palo Alto Shooting
PALO ALTO (CBS SF) — A 19-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after he was shot while in a vehicle in East Palo Alto late Tuesday night, police said.
About 10:10 p.m., officers were alerted to shots fired in the 2500 block of Emmett Way, about a block from University Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old man slumped over with at least one gunshot wound in the driver seat of a parked vehicle, police said.
The Menlo Park Fire District arrived on scene and rendered aid to the man. He was transported to a local hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital, police said.

The victim’s name had not been released pending notification of his next of kin.
