1 Hurt In SF Tenderloin Shooting

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A victim was expected to survive after being shot in the leg in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood Thursday morning, a police spokesman said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Turk and Taylor streets.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

Three male suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a silver vehicle, Esparza said.

The shooting prompted the closure of the intersection earlier in the morning, and buses were rerouted around the area.
