Crews Quickly Douse House Fire Near Oakland Middle School
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Firefighters were able to douse a blaze at a home in Oakland, a fire dispatcher said.
Crews responded to a report of a one-alarm fire at 2145 Sonoma Way, near Roosevelt Middle School, at about 11:50 p.m. Sunday, the dispatcher said.
The fire was under control roughly 20 minutes later, at about 12:10 a.m. today, he said.
The dispatcher did not say if anyone was injured or displaced in the fire.
Details about the fire were not immediately available.
