1 Wounded In Shooting At Antioch Block Party, Suspect At Large

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- Police in Antioch are investigating a shooting at a block party Saturday evening.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Sycamore Drive at about 6:55 p.m., police said.

At the time of the shooting, a group of people was gathered behind some apartment buildings having a block party, according to police.

A car was seen speeding west through a nearby alley and began firing several shots, hitting a person.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was transported to a hospital to be treated for his injuries and was later released.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
