Jay-Z & Kanye West Both Announce Concert Tour Dates

The question is: Which 'throne' are you going to watch?

(CBS SF) – On the very same day that Kanye West announces his Yeezus Tour, his mentor, collaborator, and friend Jay-Z announced his 2013 Magna Carter World Tour. While no special guests have been announced on Jay-Z’s tour, you can count on there being plenty.

Jay-Z’s Magna Carter World Tour kicks off the North American leg on November 30th in St. Paul, Michigan with a Bay Area stop at the SAP Center in San Jose on December 11. The tour will end in Pennsylvania at the end of January 2014. Tickets go on-sale September 12 through Live Nation.

As for the new father, Kanye West’s North American “Yeezus Tour” kicks off October 19 in Seattle, Washington and will hit 23 cities including back-to-back Bay Area shows. October 22 at the SAP Center in San Jose and on October 23 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. Kendrick Lamar opens for Kanye West during the tour.

Tickets go on-sale for West’s tour starting September 13, also through Live Nation.
