Man Fatally Shot In Berkeley
BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- A man was shot and killed near Eighth and Page streets in Berkeley Sunday evening, according to a police spokeswoman.
Gunshots were reported in the area at 5:43 p.m., according to Officer Jennifer Coats.
Officers arriving on the scene found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds at Eighth and Page, Coats said.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Coats said.
Police remain on the scene, canvassing the area for evidence. No suspect information had been released yet, Coats said.
