1 Hurt In West Oakland Shooting
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A person was hospitalized after being shot in West Oakland on Sunday night, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Filbert Street at about 9:40 p.m., Officer J. Moore said.
Upon arriving at the scene, they found a person suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Moore said.
The victim was transported to a hospital and was in stable condition early this morning, he said.
The shooter, who fled in a car, remained at large.
