Injured Cal G Cobbs Expected To Be Set For Season

BERKELEY (CBS Sports) -- Cal's finish to the 2012-13 college basketball season sparked plenty of optimism going forward for the Golden Bears. They won seven in a row down the stretch to lock up an NCAA tournament bid, then knocked off UNLV in the Round of 64.

Unfortunately, leading scorer Allen Crabbe decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NBA draft – and then second-leading scorer Justin Cobbs suffered a right foot fracture in August.

While Crabbe is obviously in the professional ranks now, it looks like Cobbs is on track to be ready for the season.

"Everything's feeling good," Cobbs said. "Just taking my time. I feel really good about it. I'm not worried. Just stay healthy and stay focused. I should be back 100 percent."
