Raiders Unveiling New 'Raider Rusher' Mascot

OAKLAND (CBS Sports) -- These aren't your father's Oakland Raiders. And based on the new mascot the team is unveiling it appears these aren't Al Davis' Raiders either.

The Raiders are introducing the world to 'The Raider Rusher' (see photo on left) on Tuesday as part of Nickelodeon's "NFL Rush Zone" kids show.

In the Nickelodeon show, each team has had an animated mascot created that's similar to 'Raider Rusher' - the only difference between the Raiders and the other 31 NFL teams is that the Raiders decided to make their animated mascot into an actual living, breathing, thing.

'The Raider Rusher will be at Raiders games, hanging out in the kids' areas at O.Co Coliseum.

CLICK HERE to find out why CBS Sports' NFL writer Will Brinson thinks 'The Raider Rusher' is "perhaps the most inept-looking mascot the world's ever seen."
