Juvenile Arrested In Downtown San Jose For Shooting At Man
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A police officer arrested a juvenile suspect after seeing him shooting at a man in San Jose Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officers were patrolling near the corner of East Reed Street and Seventh Street at 4:37 p.m. when they saw the suspect firing a gun at a man there, police said.
When they tried to arrest the suspect he ran away, but the officers caught up with him and he surrendered.
The suspect was arrested and his gun was confiscated, police said.
No one was injured in the shooting.
The suspect will be booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.
Police have not determined the motive for the shooting.
