SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - A limousine driver suffered minor injuries after an attempted carjacking Thursday morning that ended with a crash on a Mission District alley, San Francisco police said.

The suspect opened fire on a Lincoln town car registered to the Abala Limousine Service near the corner of Mission and 18th streets just before 4:30 a.m., police said.

The bullets did not hit the driver, who sped away only to crash into a parked car a few blocks away on a narrow one-way street, according to police.
