Parked Cars Badly Damaged In SF Crash; Driver Hospitalized
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 30-year-old woman who was allegedly driving drunk remains in the hospital after crashing into several cars in San Francisco's Inner Richmond neighborhood early Friday morning, a police spokesman said.
Martine Dere, of San Francisco, was apparently behind the wheel of a blue car that hit multiple parked vehicles near Geary Boulevard and 10th Avenue around 4 a.m., San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
After crashing into the cars, Dere stopped driving and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where she remains this morning.
She was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run, Esparza said.
