BOSTON (CBS) – Never rule out Boston sports teams.

Just a few hours after Tom Brady led the New England Patriots to an amazing comeback win over the New Orleans Saints at Gillette Stadium, the Boston Red Sox pulled off a dramatic comeback of their own at Fenway Park in Game 2 of the ALCS against the Detroit Tigers. The series is now tied 1-1 as it shifts to Detroit for Game 3 on Tuesday.

The Red Sox bats were once again shut down by Detroit’s’ starter – this time it was Max Scherzer, who held the Sox hit-less through 5.1 innings and struck out 13 over 7 innings – but David Ortiz picked up the offense with one swing of the bat.
