3.2 Magnitude Quake Shakes Monterey County

SOLEDAD (CBS SF) -- A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck an area near Soledad in Monterey County Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor occurred at 9:02 p.m. about 14 miles north-northeast of Soledad.

The earthquake had a depth of about 5.4 miles, according to the USGS.
