Livermore Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

LIVERMORE (CBS SF) – A Livermore man was arrested this week on child pornography charges, police said.

Jason Erik Sherman, 44, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of child pornography after a warrant was issued by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, Livermore police spokesman Steve Goard said.

Prior to the arrest Livermore police conducted an investigation that included a search on Tuesday of Sherman's home and computers.

The warrant was issued after the search located more than 70 images of alleged child pornography, Goard said.
