SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Candlestick Park will be blown up after this season, but the 49ers are offering fans a way to hold on to their favorite seats.
Season ticket holders will have a chance to buy their seats for $649 for a pair. Single seats are not on sale.
The general public will get a chance to purchase any leftover seats starting next month.
The stadium, which opened in 1960, played host to the 1989 earthquake World Series game, “The Catch” and a number of other memorable moments.
