Fairfield Man Fatally Shot In San Francisco's South Of Market

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man who was fatally shot in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood early Wednesday morning has been identified by the medical examiner's office as 22-year-old Fairfield resident Jeremy Buenaluz.

Officers responded at 4:53 a.m. to a report of shots fired near Third and Bryant streets, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

They arrived to find Buenaluz suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died.

No arrests had been made in the case and no suspect information was immediately available Wednesday afternoon, police said.
