PLEASANTON (CBS SF) — With the aid of SWAT teams and the state justice department, police have arrested four East Bay men in connection with a home invasion robbery in Pleasanton over the summer.

The robbery occurred around 12:35 p.m. on Aug. 26 at a home on Roselma Place, according to police.

Officers said a resident had just arrived home and was about to close the garage door when three men armed with guns approached her.

The suspects allegedly forced the woman into the house, where her husband, who had returned from gambling at a Bay Area casino hours earlier, was sleeping with a bag of cash winnings beside him.

Police said the men demanded “the money,” and the husband complied out of fear for his and his wife’s safety.

The men fled and police were unable to locate them immediately following the robbery.

Working with the California Department of Justice’s Bureau of Gambling Control, police were able to locate three of the suspects and obtained search and arrest warrants for them.

On Oct. 24, SWAT teams assisted in the arrests of the three men at their homes in Oakland and Hercules. The men were identified as 24-year-old Jakari Bolden, of Oakland, Terrell Bailey, 25, of Oakland, and Hercules resident Thomas Stokes, 30.

The three were arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.

On Nov. 6, police were able to locate a fourth suspect in connection with the robbery, identified as 20-year-old Myrick Rucker, according to police. A SWAT team assisted in arresting him on suspicion of robbery at his Antioch home.
