Body Found Floating In San Francisco Bay Near McCovey Cove
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A body was found floating in the San Francisco Bay near McCovey Cove Saturday morning, according to fire officials.
A passerby was walking their dog near Pier 48 around 8:10 a.m. when they spotted a bloated, corpse-like body in the water and asked someone to call 911, fire personnel said.
Police were responding to the scene and an investigation was underway.
