SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – The Kansas City Chiefs’ winning streak is on the line Sunday when they meet the Broncos in Denver.

“Kansas City is undefeated, 9-0, and Kind of a sentimental favorite,” John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. “You’d like to see that go on. But playing in Denver? We talk about tough places to play and Denver, over the years, has been one of them. But more important is (Broncos quarterback) Peyton Manning. I know about the injury and the ankle and so on, but he can have those kinds of things and still throw four or five touchdown passes.”

The 8-1 Broncos are eight and a half point favorites.

The Eagles, tied with the Cowboy at 5-5, can move into first place in the NFC East with a win over Washington Sunday. Who does Madden like in that division?

“First of all, there’s no one that’s any good. You’re not talking about the cream of the crop, you’re talking about the bottom of the barrel…There’s part of me that says that Dallas is the best team. But when I watch them play, right now, Philadelphia is playing best.” (6:30)
