Worker Killed In Fall At Port Of Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) — A worker was killed in an accident at the Port of Oakland Monday afternoon, Oakland police said.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Embarcadero West at 2:33 p.m. on reports of a possible death there, Officer J. Moore said.

The worker, who was involved in a fall, was pronounced dead at the scene and the coroner was called, Moore said.
