Masked Men Rob Pinole Smoke Shop At Gunpoint

PINOLE (CBS SF) -- Two masked suspects robbed a smoke shop in Pinole at gunpoint on Wednesday evening, police said Thursday.

Around 5:55 p.m., two people dressed in black with black knit masks over their faces, one toting a semiautomatic handgun, entered the Smoke & Save store at 1259 San Pablo Ave., police said.

The suspects demanded cash and cigarettes and made off with an undisclosed amount of money and goods, according to police.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police said the two fled in a silver Audi four-door sedan with paper plates with the word "Concord" printed on them.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Pinole police at (510) 724-8950.
