SCOTTS VALLEY (CBS SF) — Police in Scotts Valley were investiging a pair of burglaries at two local businesses last week.

The first burglary was reported around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Jia Tella’s restaurant at 18 Victor Square, police said.

An intruder had forced entry into the restaurant and stolen a safe, according to police.

A day later, a business at 10 Victor Square was reported burglarized. Someone had forced entry there and taken several items, police said.

Police were still investigating whether the crimes were related.

Anyone with information about either burglary was asked to call Scotts Valley police at (831) 440-5654.
