Pedestrian Critically Injured In Crash Near SFSU

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A pedestrian was critically injured when he was hit by a car near San Francisco State University on Saturday evening, police said Monday.

The 20-year-old man was struck at about 6:35 p.m. Saturday in the area of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Holloway Avenue, according to police.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.

The 33-year-old driver of the car that hit him was not arrested, police said.

No other information about the case was immediately available Monday morning.
