3 Hurt In 2 Separate San Jose Shootings

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Three people were injured in two separate shootings early Thursday morning in San Jose, a police spokeswoman said.

The first shooting was reported at about 2 a.m. in the 2200 block of Dobern Avenue, where officers arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police spokeswoman Sgt. Heather Randol said.

He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not life-threatening, Randol said.

About two hours later, officers responded to the 800 block of State Street, where they found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Randol.

Both victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, she said.

No arrests have been made in connection with either shooting, Randol said.
