Man Injured During Shooting In SF's Japantown

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— A man was shot in the hand in San Francisco's Japantown neighborhood on Sunday night, according to police.

Police said on Monday that the shooting was reported at about 10:10 p.m. near Post and Buchanan streets.

The 32-year-old victim was approached by two male suspects who said something to him, then one of the suspects fired three shots, hitting him once in the hand, according to police.

The suspects fled in a silver sedan and remained at large as of Monday morning.

The victim went to a hospital to be treated for his injury.
