SF Pedestrian Severely Injured In Mission District Hit-And-Run

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - A pedestrian remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a pre-dawn hit-and-run crash in the Mission District on Thursday, according to San Francisco police.

The man is being treated at San Francisco General Hospital for head injuries sustained after he was hit around 2:45 a.m. by a black sedan on the corner of Valencia Street and Clinton Park, not far from Duboce Avenue.

The van continued south on Valencia after hitting a man in his 20s, police said.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Investigators have urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the San Francisco Police Department.
