Driver Leaves Girlfriend Trapped In Truck After Glen Ellen Crash

GLEN ELLEN (CBS SF) - A Santa Rosa man left his girlfriend trapped in an overturned vehicle after he crashed it in Glen Ellen Thursday afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

Jon Holley, 24, was driving his 2006 Nissan Frontier too fast around a curve on Warm Springs Road near Wolf Run at about 4:30 p.m., CHP Officer Marcus Hawkins said.

The Nissan crashed through a fence on the opposite side of the road and rolled over, coming to rest upside down against a tree, Hawkins said.

Holley escaped from the vehicle and fled, leaving behind his 23-year-old girlfriend, who was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Hawkins said.

Holley was still at large Friday morning, according to the CHP.
