Daily Madden: John's Weekend Picks

The KCBS Radio morning crew asked John Madden to comment on some of the Week 15 NFL match-ups.

Saints-Panthers: "That's a good one... I really think that New Orleans is the best team, and if they were playing at home I would definitely say the Saints. But the Saints aren't a good road team (and) they're playing Carolina in Carolina. And so I would go out on a limb to pick Carolina, but I wouldn't feel strong about it."

Patriots-Ravens: "I like Baltimore, and I like the way that they're finishing the season. You know we always talk about that you want to be peaking as you get towards the end of the season, peak as you go into the playoffs. If you watch the Ravens, they're one of those teams that are peaking now. If you watch the New England Patriots, they're one of those teams that are struggling now because of injuries."

Cowboys-Redskins: "(The Washington players) get fired up, but are the players who get fired up good enough? I don't see Washington beating anyone right now. I know that Dallas kind of implodes and if they're not imploding you think it's right around the corner. But I don't see that the Redskins have anything left, I really don't."

Packers-Steelers: "They're still going back and forth on this Aaron Rodgers (injury) thing. I know that (Packers QB) Aaron Rodgers has to be rusty. But if Aaron Rodgers were to play, I would pick the Packers."

Eagles-Bears: "That's going to be a tough one. I kind of like Philadelphia in this one... You know how the Cowboys tend to implode a little? I kind of have that same feeling about Chicago, that they can get and have everything under control, and then lose control." (7:55)
