2 Hurt In Shooting Near San Jose State

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Two people were injured in a shooting near San Jose State University late Friday night, police said.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday, police received a 911 call reporting that two people were suffering from gunshot wounds near the intersection of South Second and East San Fernando streets, police said.

Officers arrived at the scene and found two male victims, both suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to police.

The victims were transported to a local hospital and treated for their injuries, police said.

The motive and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation and no suspects information has been released, police said.
